Nothing is more fun that selecting items in a store with hand held barcode scanners. Now making a registry with hand held barcodes is one of the most delightful activities you can dream about.

My partner and I first got to use hand-held barcode scanners when we started a bridal registry at Target dept store. We had a virtual field day running round the store selecting item after item. The time flew by and we may have stayed all night long with the wish list.

The entire experience was so fun that we began to get a small spotty in the shop. Perhaps we were tired or merely excited but my hubby started to imitate the doctor on Star Trek and I took on the task of Captain Kirk. Eventually, my husband said that he was giving it all he’s got but he can’t scan another item in the voice of Scotty. I think that we had enough fun with the handheld barcode scanner.

It appears as if we had more fun than 2 grown up adults should with anything. The day that we made our marriage present registry is a fond memory for the two of us. Naturally, we had to return to Target to start the baby shower present registry. The store has tons of baby items and it has great hand-held barcode scanners, too. We were pleased to discover that Target was not the sole store to offer this kind of service. Babies-R-Us is another store that uses these scanners for baby shower present registries. There were such a lot of items and the staff was so helpful that we got the task finished in record time.

We did not play any games this time around but we had a superb time using the hand held barcode scanners.
